Some Emerald boards

Since the director's wanted a more dynamic series than 'Isadora Moon', I tried to vary how character's entered and left shot, by using the 'Y' axis more. On a low-budget, 2D-animated TV show, a character walking towards or away from camera is a very tricky and time-consuming business, but with characters who have tails and fins, we could be more flexible with the way in which they moved through environments. Using depth in animation is essential for immersive, three-dimensional worlds, so I decided at various points in the episodes to utilise just that.
