Some thumbs

I don't always thumbnail my scripts before I start, but sometimes it's a good way of keeping track of staging and movement. Plus, you can see the overall progression of the story and characters and spot what shots to add or cut.

This sequence for the episode 'Mystery Seafood Snacker' for the animated TV show 'Emerald.' The sequence is a very simple set-up, since it really only uses one background design. This is pretty standard for pre-school 2D-animated shows, since the characters have fins instead of legs, it allowed us more freedom to have characters enter and leave shot more dynamically.
