Underwater Caper

Some animatic sequences from the spin-off animated series, 'Emerald' with clips from, 'Lunchtime Crunchtime' and 'Mystery Seafood Snacker.' I had such a blast working with the wonderful artists and crew at Kelebek, can’t wait to see what they do next!

Last Day of the Summer Holidays

While at Aardman, I got to do a few short episodes of ‘Morph Season 3,’ the small plasticine man who speaks an unintelligible language and sleeps in a small wooden box on a table top. Along with his friend, Chas, they get up to all sorts of hijinks and mischief. While Morph's nature is that of an innocent, curious character, Chas is much more mischievous and prone to bad behaviour. Since it's nearing the end of the summer season once again, I thought this episode would hit the spot. Enjoy!

More JoJo and Gran Gran poses

Some more poses for 'JoJo and Gran Gran' that were lurking in some forgotten part of my hard-drive. This set of background characters were loosely based off my observational sketches in and around Bristol.

JoJo and Gran Gran poses

Some key poses and breakdowns for the episodes, 'It's Time to Ice-Skate' and 'It's Time for a Jumble Sale.' It was tricky thinking of poses that the rigs could achieve, but I got there in the end.

Gumball is back!

'The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball' has finally come out on Hulu and Disney+. There were so many talented and skilled techicians with styles and ideas so diverse and rich, just turning up to work is an awe-inspiring experience. It took time and tons of drawings and gags before the it could solidify into something both funny and real.

UPDATE: Go check out the full episode of 'The Thing' boarded by the uber-talented Oli Hamilton, on Youtube here, you wont regret it!

And we're off!

Been a while since I've posted anything. Lost some momentum with tight deadlines and too much real work with a dangling paycheck. Stupid work. Here's a quick sketch from a project that no longer needs this character. And what is this blog for? To catch those drawings that never see the light of day. Anyway, I like this little reject, if only for her grumpy expression.
